Samuel provides Momentum’s strategic direction, drawing on sixteen years of experience across grassroots communities, national systems, global operations and commercial sports platforms.

Samuel’s work began close to the game. He built a community-led futsal platform that helped players find opponents, form teams and participate more often.

National Development
Football Association of Malaysia
Nationwide pathway · Ages 6–12
As Head of Grassroots, Samuel strengthened the national pathway for children aged 6 to 12. He developed a nationwide coaching course, introduced an academy charter and accreditation system, and founded Liga SupaRimau.

As Head of Asia Pacific and later Head of Operations, Samuel scaled football development programmes across APAC and global markets. He led market expansion, player onboarding, budgets, academy coach coordination and end-to-end camp delivery, creating high-performance experiences alongside coaches from leading European academies.

Since May 2023, Samuel has served as a Board Trustee of Impact Integrated, a strategic catalyst agency under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He contributes to governance, strategic direction and the organisation’s work across youth development, esports and media.
